Senator says Obama's appearance with Chavez 'irresponsible'

(CNN) – Sen. John Ensign, R-Nevada, told CNN Sunday it was "irresponsible" for President Obama to have been seen "laughing and joking" with Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez at the Summit of the Americas on Friday.

"This is a person who is one of the most anti-American leaders in the entire world," Ensign told CNN's John King on State of The Union. "He is a brutal dictator and human rights violations are very, very prevalent in Venezuela. And you have to be careful."

"When you're talking about the prestige of the United States and the presidency of the United States, you have to be careful who you're seen joking around with," he also said.

What is irresponsible is not understanding the meaning of "irresponsible" and using it incorrectly. What is irresponsible is not having tea bag parties protesting Bush (43) and his policies. What is irresponsible is lying. What is irresponsible is race baiting. What is irresponsible is making racist remarks. What is irresponsible is being throwing a hissy fit and taking your ball home when you had a chance to participate in forming the stimulus bill. What is irresponsible is putting a black guy as a figurehead of your party only to show psuedo-change. What is irresponsible is talking too much without doing anything productive yourself for the greater good of society. What is irresponsible is attempting to hinder change. What is irresponsible is downing your president while others leaders are showing respect. What is irresponsible is nit picking. What is irresponsible is acting like an ignorant fool. What is irresponsible is saying that people shouldn't register their guns. What is irresponsible is getting upset because we let the world know we did torture. What is irresponsible is trying to hide things. What is irresponsible is greed. What is irresponsible is worrying about the betterment of your pocket book and not the betterment of society. Shall I go on?

This is the Republican party. You get upset because our president is having a good time with another leader, but I just wrote a big block of text that shows your irresponsibility. How much more hypocritical can you be!?! Don't play with me. I just call it as I see it.
